Terms of Service

By downloading, installing or using ARGoals (“the App”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is made by AR Web & Development LLC (“we”, “us”), a New Jersey limited liability company.

ARGoals lets you:

• log meals and track calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat
• scan barcodes and search food databases
• photograph food for an AI nutritional estimate
• track progress with photos, weight and measurements
• ask an AI nutrition coach general questions
• sync across your devices with an account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• Give accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

You agree not to:

• use the App for anything illegal
• try to reach our systems or another person’s account without authorisation
• interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers behind it
• upload malicious code or harmful content
• harass, abuse or harm anyone, or impersonate anyone
• use automated systems against the App without our permission
• reverse engineer the App or circumvent its access controls

You keep ownership of what you create — your food logs, photos and notes. You give us only the licence we need to run the service: to store and process that content so the App works, to keep backups so a hardware failure does not destroy it, and to use aggregated, anonymised data to improve the App.

Don’t upload content that infringes someone’s rights, is illegal, obscene, defamatory or harassing, or contains malware. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

Food photo analysis produces approximations. Accuracy varies with photo quality, presentation and how much of the portion is visible. Verify the numbers whenever they matter.

The AI coach gives general information only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice, must not be used to diagnose or treat anything, and can be wrong or incomplete.

ARGoals is a tracking tool, not medical advice. It is intended for general wellness and fitness tracking. Nutritional information can contain errors. Do not use the App as your only source of dietary guidance, and speak to a healthcare professional before starting any diet or fitness programme. If you have an eating disorder, a medical condition or dietary restrictions, seek professional guidance. We are not responsible for health outcomes arising from use of the App.

We provide the App as it is and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time from inside the App — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the App. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most things are settled faster informally than formally.

These Terms are between you and AR Web & Development LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, is not responsible for product warranties or for claims relating to the App, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

We may change these Terms and will give notice of material changes in-app or by email; continuing to use the App afterwards means you accept them. If any provision turns out to be unenforceable the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the App.
